The Glorious Book of Colossians
The apostle Paul wrote Colossians to combat the dangerous false teaching at Colosse that was unseating, displacing, and usurping the centrality and infinite supremacy of the divine Person of Jesus Christ in creation, revelation, redemption, and in His church – as the only “Head” of His true body. Today there seems to be no end to the false prophets, programs, pablum, paganism, poison, pop psychology, and people that have been lifted up above the “Head” of the body of Christ Jesus Christ. In Colossians Paul establishes the divinely-ordained, non-negotiable centrality of Christ in creation, redemption, and among His beloved people. How well do you know the book of Colossians?
